Introduction

Hello! I am Wyatt (aka keybangz). I am a long time hobbyist programmer currently in blue collar work that has a massive heart for tinkering, creating and breaking down both software and hardware. This website acts as a portfolio for my software projects and as a access point for my self-hosted services.
Starting my journey in 2016, I was taught by a very keen friend at the time (Astrak if you are alive I wish you the best.) the basics of programming through the use of SourceMod scripting, as I was interested in running gameservers for Team Fortress 2. This started a chain of events which eventually lead me down the road of creating a myBB forum (R.I.P the superior social media), hosting MySQL databases, managing staff & community alike, learning Linux and ofcourse VPS setup and management.
Here's some old footage of gameplay of one of the servers I developed.
All of these things snowballed into me getting into niche subjects such as Reverse Engineering & self hosting. During this time I tried different trade industry work (glass glazing & auto sparky work to be specific). As time went on, I had moved from rural farmland into the city, and officially started working on getting a bachelors degree. This did not end well, as I would find nearly 3 years later. I infact was diagnosed with ADHD & OCD respectively. I had ran into a brick wall promptly named burnout, quickly after I had shelfed the idea of entering the tech industry as a whole and had been fighting with executive dysfunction issues ever since. Also moved from Auckland to Sydney :)
Why bother coming back?
After my diagnosis and being given medication, I had found myself instantly jumping into old hobbies, the biggest being programming. With a new handle on what I previously thought to be a road long gone, has me landed right back in the middle of where I left off, (although the industry has changed 100x over, for better or for worse). I find myself tinkering, creating and working on projects once again just as I did years prior. This has lit the urge for me to enter the industry with a better perspective then I could ever have before so I can then work towards running my own business.
If you are here, one would assume you are interested in seeing if I am worth the penny's the industry charges. I suggest you look at my projects & breakdowns of other related skills that I have since developed.
PS: My commit history represents how often over the years I've forgotten to git push
:P.
If you have made it this far, I hope you have a fantastic rest of your day!
